When God created man and woman he wanted fellowship with them. He walked with them in the Garden. He talked with them, and they with Him. They relied and depended on Him for their every need. They only had to obey one rule: Do not eat of the tree of knowledge. As we all know, they disobeyed that one rule, and with this sin, they were separated from God.
Our purpose in life from the beginning of time has been to love God, rely on Him for our needs, and trust in Him to secure our future. He still wants us to talk to Him and He wants to speak to us. He sent His Son, and through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, has provided reconciliation with Himself. We need to take advantage of this opportunity in order to fulfill our true purpose in life and to claim our destiny in Him. We need to reconcile with our God, our purpose and our eternal future. The plan has always been there. We just have to accept it and honor it, because of the love in which it was intended.
